KPN and Novasys announce the launch of ‘SMS MapConfirmation’, the new confirmation service including a geographic map on the mobile phone.

Belgacom, der führende Telecom Operator in Belgien und Novasys, einer der führenden GIS Lösungs-Anbieter in Europa, setzen ihre mehrjährige erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit für den „SMS Carto" Service fort. Zusätzlich wurde die Partnerschaft um eine Mapping- und Routing Integration auf den Internet-Portalen www.1307.be und www.1207.be erweitert.

Novasys, ein führender Anbieter von Mapping Lösungen für das mobile und das stationäre Internet  integriert eine neue 3D-Flug Funktion in seiner Maponair Plattform. Zielgruppe für diese Erweiterung sind Portale, Gelbe- und Weiße Seiten und Anbieter auf dem Gebiet der lokalen Suche.

Novasys ist der Schweizer Marktführer im Bereich Web-basierter oder mobiler Geo-Services und bei Call-Center Lösungen. Die Firma ist vollkommen unabhängig. Novasys hat sich über das Jahr 2006 weitere CHF 3,2 Mio. an Eigenkapital von den bestehenden Anteilseignern und Jade Invest, einer Schweizer Private Equity Firma mit Spezialisierung auf Technologie Investments, gesichert. Die Finanzierung wurde im Dezember 2006 mit Aufnahme der letzten Tranche abgeschlossen.

Novasys, a specialist in integrated location software, and LSSi Europe, a leader in developing and operating high-performance directory databases, have signed an agreement to deliver a portfolio of Enhanced Directory Assistance (EDA) services to telecom operators and 118 providers across Europe. 

Novasys is the Swiss leader in the field of geo-location services implemented in Internet, Mobile and Call Centre Solutions. The company has secured a CHF 2,2 mio funding from its existing shareholders and Jade Invest, a Swiss private equity investment company specialised in technology investments.
