Maponair

Maponair® is a Novasys service that allows you to show the location of all the addresses of your Yellow and White Pages on a map linked to your website.
Your visitors will be able to navigate on these geo-graphic maps using zoom and pan functions or search for an address (place, ZIP code, street, house number). They can also work out the best route to or from any location, including cross border door to door routes.
Maponair® allows you to select a layout that best suits your needs. You can also choose the map modules (countries) that are displayed and adapted to your visitor's browser language.

Maponair® Dynamic mapping

This new state of the art technology based on FLASH and AJAX brings a new paradigm to Internet Mapping. Maps are displayed at high speed and the user has immediate pan and zoom functionality at the tip of his mouse. The mouse roller may even be used for quick zoom in/out.

Street maps and Aerial-Photos

Let your visitors share this exciting experience. Maponair presents the street maps in a new high quality presentation for superior readability and attractivity of the maps. Aerial-Photos bring real life emotion to the content. Finally, the exclusive technology of Maponair® combines the street maps and the aerial-photos in a smooth transition making the best of the two wolds.

Maponair® "Portal"

The Portal version of Maponair® is used for the Yellow and White Pages. Based on the available information, YP/WP addresses are displayed using online geocoding or pre-geo-coded addresses.

Geographic search

This function allows your visitors to search for a person or a type of companies around a given address, and even to fix a distance for searching. Results are displayed in an easy to use list with clear references on the Maponair® maps.

Route planner / Driving directions

Maponair® enables the visitors to use any address for Route planning. The exclusive Maponair® roadbook brings simple route description and marked up maps. It includes local maps for a clear turn by turn route de-scription. International door to door routing is available.

Points of Interest

Value Added content such as Points of Interest (POI) bring an important extension to the maps and enrich the user's experience. Maponair® Yellow and White Pages includes a powerful POI management tool with dynamic display of the POI's of any selected category immediately on the map. A mouse over tool tip dis-plays the description of the Points of Interest.

Mobile Extensions

The Maponair® technology allows the convergence between the  Internet and the Mobile environments. Specific maps may be sent to the users as MMS maps or in a SMS WAP Push message. Maponair® is also ready for full WAP mobile directory applications used on WAP Portals.
