GeoMarketing Project DMC
Direct Mail Company in Basel is specialised for the planning and implementation of addressed and not addressed direct advertising. Novasys has developed an application to support DMC in the area of GeoMarketing (analyses of target groups etc.) and for the distribution of the advert material (optimisation and visualisation of distribution areas etc.).
The client/server application is based on Novasys standard modules and is running in a Citrix environment. Various data were implemented as Navteq vector data, GeoPost address data, vector house layer SwissTopo and statistical data from the Federal Government (OfS). The Novasys application is interfacing with other DMC-solutions to receive data and deliver results from analysis.
Planning Tool for Tours: the geographic / digital planning tool brings the possibilities to plan and display the different tours (new and existing) on the map. On the bases of existing data, the different tours can be pro-duced automatically and manually optimised. The addresses of the defined distribution areas are feeded back to the DMC solutions for further treatment.
GeoMarketing Tool: calculation of isochrones for every selected location with the possibility to define the speed ort he distances. Thematic maps are supporting the users to understand the analysis-results of the social-demographic statistic data. It is possible to configure a specific analysis-filter to get different results in the same area.
