High Resolution Orthophotos Switzerland

Novasys is the first map provider in Switzerland which is offering high resolution orthofotos from SwissTopo to its client base. The high quality data is available for the most important city areas.

Maponair is providing an overall coverage of Switzerland with orthofotos 50cm for some years now. In the Flash Mapping Client, the images can be displayed and as well overlaid on map-data with a transparency feature. Additionally, Novasys has now integrated the SwissTopo orthofotos 25cm for various city-areas. The following coverage is available today: the entire eastern part of Switzerland, Luzern, Berne, Basel, Freiburg, Lausanne, Geneva and Lugano.

Due to the excellent quality of the images, it is possible now to zoom-in even closer and discover interesting details. Novasys is the first provider who is offering this material to its client-base via Maponair products or the Novasys web-services.
