Swisscom Mobile goes online with the Maponair services CityMap and CityRoute on "Vodafone live!".
Maponair Mobile Mapping & Routing
Maponair MMR is a mapping and routing service developed by Novasys which allows the user (depending on their current location) to download and view maps and routing information on his standard mobile phone.
The following services are currently available:

Maponair CityMap
Address search and visualisation of locations on maps. -
Maponair CityRoute
Address search and calculation of routes between two points. Display of routing info (road book) on maps. -
Maponair CityFind
Search for POI (points of interest) around a specific location for example: ATM, shops, pharmacies, nightlife, restaurants,... Integrated functionalities of CityMap and CityRoute (see above).
The users are able to navigate the maps with zoom-in / zoom-out and pan tools. After entering an adress, a route can be calculated between two locations.
Results are output over mobile Internet and MMS on mobile phones and PDA. Clients of these B2B Maponair services are Operators and Content providers for mobile information.
