Novasys equipped ELVIA with a Call Center Tracking solution
The tracking technology specialist Novasys equipped ELVIA with a Call Center Tracking solution. Novasys developed a Call Center System for Elvia which allows fully-automated locating and disposing of BMW´s and Mini´s helpers at accidents and breakdowns.
The call-center solution which is called NovaTrack includes a quick and reliable logging of incoming calls by troubled car drivers. An automated localisation of available service personnel and the visualization on a detailed map eases the the dispatcher´s work. Moreover, the helpers are equipped with a PDA which sends the precise GPS position via GRPRS to the ELVIA control center. The Novatrack application selects the next available service helper and automatically delivers a task to him. If he accepts the request, necessary information about car type and owner are additionally transmitted, using the same GPRS connection. The helper may then directly enter details about the case and work he supplied into his PDA. These records are automatically transferred back to the control center´s customer files.
